Urn is made of aircraft-grade anodized aluminum and will last forever. The urn unscrews to reveal the storage chamber. Inside there is a clear container to keep the ashes safe and dry. I ordered this set for my sons to hold ashes of their grandmother, who loved butterflies. My 7-year-old enjoys wearing his necklace and loves that the butterfly charm reminds him of Grandma. My 3-year-old took his to BABW and placed it inside a very special Grandma Bunny. The pieces were slightly larger than I expected and very easy to fill. They contain a smaller vial inside the screw closed capsule. I only wish they had come with an adhesive to seal them as my older son's capsule opened one day at home without him noticing. Thankfully we were able to find the inner vial and bottom and have since glued it closed. Over all I am very pleased with this purchase, they are perfect for my grieving boys.
